I would get rid of the "Recommended Channels" on the right side of the page. Yes, it is a nice to have feature when signed in but it not only takes up too much space but also clutters the whole theme of the website.
I ran the Unnecessary Test on this feature and 1) Yes, there is another way to find recommended pages. It is under subscriptions. 2) No this feature does not contribute to the completion of the task and 3) This task is not vital to the activity of this application. To be clear, the activity of this application is to surf and upload videos.
