The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is a digital venture that provides consulting design and technology services to form strategic venture teams with clients in order to create and grow disruptive digital platforms.  This is the 'what' of BCG.  BCG helps its clients/companies create a competitive advantage, build more capable organizations, and secure a lasting future. 

I believe that the 'why' behind BCG is their true and total commitment to their clients.  They actually care about their clients' organizations and they strive to help them and turn them into better organizations.  They do not do it just for money; BCG does what they do because they have respect and admiration for the clients that they work with.  They want to see their clients succeed and they want to help make a positive impact upon society.  BCG places a big emphasis on integrity and loyalty to their clients.  I think that these are the 'why' values for BCG and this is what separates them from the million other consulting firms out their.  The emphasis on their core values make for a better 'what'.
